Maryam Taher is the Managing Partner who qualified in 1992 at Clyde & Co, where she specialised in shipping, aviation and insurance litigation.

Her work has included conduct of large scale multi-jurisdictional disputes arising out of international trade and transport of goods carried by sea and air and also, insurance matters.  She also worked as legal counsel in insurance industry for several years.

Her clients have included ship-owners, charterers, transport operators, P & I insurers, charterers liability insurers, cargo insurers, cargo receivers, air lines, freight forwarders, oil and commodity traders and importers and recovery agents.

Her team not only specialises in shipping, transport and trade, but also in the area of the marine insurance and professional indemnity.

She speaks several languages, including, fluent Farsi/Persian, Azerbaijani/Turkish. She, also, has basic knowledge of Arabic.
